Boulder Spaces Photo Series #001

Local photographer Jay Droeger was born and raised in Boulder, providing him with a keen perspective on the changing landscape of our city. Over the past several years, Jay has included several photos of the local environment in his portfolio, which has been shown extensively throughout Colorado, and in galleries in New York, the West Coast, and abroad.
This photo, the first in a series of shots that Jay has offered to share with Boulderspace, shows an interesting contrast between one of Boulder’s more architecturally significant buildings (the Boulder Eye Clinic by Charles Haertling) and some of the new–and certainly less interesting– development that is beginning to define the look of Broadway between downtown and North Boulder.
