Fall Fest Boulder
Oct 4th, 2007 by smokeproof
We’re excited to announce Boulderspace’s participation in the annual Boulder Fall Fest. The event is being held this weekend, Friday through Sunday, on the Pearl Street Mall in Downtown Boulder.
We’ll be setting up a mobile blogging station in our vintage 1956 doubledecker bus at 13th and Pearl. We’re also partnering with a few local businesses who share a similar outlook regarding community and design, including:
The Mac Shack (a local used-Apple computer & computer repair store), Design Within Reach, Community Cycles (an organization dedicated to promoting bicycle use and bicycle education), and NAU (a new arrival to Boulder at 29th Street, an apparel company dedicated to sustainability and eco-centric fashion).
The public is invited to join us on the bus, to contribute to the blog, and to check out the various items and information provided by our co-sponsors. If you happen to ride your bike downtown, Community Cycles will be offering bike tuneups (for a modest fee which goes to support the Community Cycles mission).
We’ve also got a few surprises up our sleeve, so please stop by this weekend & chat us up, take a look at the blog at our mobile blogging station, & add some of your own perspective to the growing forum we’ve created here. It’s through your interest and your contribution that this unique community resource will continue to grow.
It was great to see everyone out at the first night of the festival. Thanks again to DBI for allowing us to participate in the festival.
Come out tomorrow”Saturday” and check out a full day of events planned. Bike rack design competition, community cycles. Come see Nau clothes get onboard.
