Sibell Wolle? What does that mean…..

Muriell Sibell Wolle was a professor at CU for 40 yrs, and she was noted for her work as a preservationis. The Fine Arts Building on the University of Colorado, Boulder campus was named after her. For those of you interested in design changes on the CU campus, this building will soon be demolished in anticipation of a new 56 million dollar fine art facility. If you are interested in checking out what the Sibell Wolle building is currently like, it will be open for its last showing this weekend, October 6-7. The University of Colorado has an informational page about the newly-proposed Visual Arts Complex (VAC), though at the time of this post there are no visuals included. Let’s hope the change is a move forward for the university and the community at large.
