Fall Fest Day 2
Oct 7th, 2007 by smokeproof
Greetings from day 2 at the Boulder Fall Fest. We’ve moved our location to the south side of the intersection at 13th and Pearl. The weather’s great again: though much cooler than yesterday, the sun’s still shining.
We’re blogging live from the doubledecker bus, and we’re showing a couple of films throughout the day: Rivers and Tides, the documentary film about environmental artist Andy Goldsworthy; and Sketches of Frank Gehry, the documentary about the iconoclastic and ever-inventive architect.
Our co-sponsors are here with us: Community Cycles (who are offering bicycle tuneups for a modest fee to support their organization), and NAU, who are displaying several pieces of clothing from their store at 29th STreet.
And, we’re launching our newest idea, a bike rack design competition, our idea about how to effectively use the recently-beheaded parking meter poles in downtown boulder.
Come on down to experience the Fall Fest, stop by and say hello… and contribute to Boulder’s newest forum for discussing design and development!
