Design Critics From The Road III - Rare and Unique Design
Jan 8th, 2008 by rlsorbe

Design Critics From The Road, a round-table discussion at 520 Pearl Street featuring Rare and Unique Designs will be held this Thursday (January 10th). This third Design Critics event will feature photos, information, and conversation around creative, organic, modern, and alternative designs throughout Boulder.
The main topic of the discussion will be about the classic works of Charles A. Haertling and individuals who have influenced his work. We will also be looking at architectural designs that have been inspired by Charles A. Haertling. It will be interesting to talk through the bridge of past designs that have influenced Charles, his work, and current architects that have used his designs as a source of inspiration.
We will also be looking at design philosophies behind these unique buildings and structures to identifying the design concepts. Which Boulder buildings are forms of design, functions of design, or a combination?
Please join professional architects, designers, individuals living in unique houses, and those interested in learning more on January 10th. Lite fair and beverages will be provided. We are looking forward to hearing your perspective and input regarding rare and unique design in Boulder. We encourage contributions for this event, please email or bring photos.
