Moto . . . Gas and Natural Foods
Feb 19th, 2008 by sorbe

For those of you driving gas powered vehicles, check out the Northwest corner of Folsom and Canyon. There is an old Sinclair station in town bringing new design and organic products to Boulder. That’s right, natural and organic foods! You will not find hostess twinkies or frito lays there; however you will find some of the most healthy organic foods and snacks on the market. Moto Modern Markets (MoMoMa) is the first store of its kind in Boulder and the creator of this operation, Michael Marsilio, is excited about the opportunities that may come from the company’s pilot store.

Moto’s “Italian-style bar” serves-up Illy’s Coffee, as “Lattes, Caps, and Mochas” are par for the course. With a custom designed dwell-like interior; aluminum cabinets, tables , chairs and internet hook-up are within the store providing a place to drink your coffee and enjoy the day. Recent renovation of the car stalls allow for 2 full bays of organic groceries, and on nice days, and we have many, the overhead doors will open to the store’s interior.
In addition to the modern organic food market, recycling cans are parked by the domestic fuel gas pumps showing Moto’s efforts towards social and environmental stewardship. All fuel sold by Moto Modern Markets is resourced from 100% domestic sources; the company campaigns that “Foreign Oil is Crude.” Additionally, Moto calls itself a “Cancer Free Zone,” reflecting the company’s decision to NOT sell tobacco products.
Moto and Boulderspace are ‘driving’ forces together at the Sinclair pump to kick-off the 2008 Double Decker Bus Tour. Stop by Moto modern Markets to learn more about the Bus’s Community Timeshare 2008 Tour.
