The Nature Conservancy and the Forest Stewardship Council are working together on a design awareness campaign for sustainable forestry. They are bringing together two initiatives: Wood, Paper, Checkmark & Going With the Grain.
Going with the Grain Challenge: Design an original and compelling object that can be made from a single sheet of FSC-certified plywood measuring 4-feet x 8-feet x 1-inch.
Prize: 2 prototypes made - one for you, and on for the auction to benefit TNC’s Forestry Program
Deadline: June 2, 2009
Wood, Paper, Checkmark: Design awareness campaign for sustainable forestry
Prize Pool: $10,000
Deadline: January 13, 2009
