The Tour of Solar and Green Homes takes place this weekend. This year 14 innovative solar and green homes will be featured. The tour and workshops will showcase a variety of resource conservation technologies. The tour begins at 10 am on Sunday, October 5th. Homes will be open from 10am-4pm.
Saving $$$ and ReSources with Reuse:
A panel of experts including an architect, a deconstruction professional, a general contractor, and a homeowner will explain how they have deconstructed and used resourced building materials to beautify and add character to both remodels and new construction. Learn what it takes to design and build with salvaged doors, floors, lumber, and fixtures.
