Details: Mark Attard started in the building industry over 20 years ago as an apprentice to a finish carpenter, making doors and various other types of mill work. Through many years of experience within the industry Mark started his own company in the State of Michigan. As he was commissioned on larger and larger projects he began to see the value in building from a more sustainable perspective. To gain more opportunity in the green building field, Mark moved to Boulder where he has worked on several high profile sustainable projects. Mark continues to fuel his passion for green building by continuing to be involved in different green building organizations and becoming certified with different green building programs. Currently Mark is a LEED Certified AP and is working on becoming a Green Verifier for NAHB National Green Building Certification program.
